Being connected to social media has become addicting to teenagers. I, myself, love to tweet, blog, and text my friends all the time;however, when driving a person should break the feeling , and put their phone away so they can stay alert on the road.
By not texting or using your phone you can stay alert ,and cause accidents to not happen and people to not lose a loved one. Don't make yourself live with the thought of you hurting or killing someone because you couldn't put your phone away for a minute or two.
Words can be erased and retyped, but people's life can't be. If the text messages were very important the person would call you instead of text you. So while driving everyone, don't text , but be alert on the road. By being alert you can save not only yourself, but the people around you as well by not getting into an accident.
